Our mission is to assess, promote and strengthen the health of Buffalo County. We work with over 3000 business and individual partners to identify community health needs, align community stakeholders in seeking solutions and evaluate community’s progress toward health indicators. Currently the organization is staffed by 12 employees, governed by a 25-member board of directors and supported by 12 community coalitions/task forces.

Wellness Coordinator – Part-time; Working under the direction of the Buffalo County Community Partner Executive Director the Community Wellness Coordinator will plan, coordinate, implement, evaluate and sustain a comprehensive community wellness plan that will ensure alignment to the mission and vision of the wellness collaboratives. A day as wellness coordinator would entail organizing meetings, talking to community stakeholders, promoting health, grant writing, evaluating outcomes and opportunity to view successful work in the community. Data Coordinator – Full-time; The Data Coordinator serves as a part of the organization’s operations team and assists Buffalo County Community Partner coalitions to ensure effective planning and efficient data tracking systems for multiple coalitions and Planning and Measurement Committee. A day as a data coordinator would entail planning qualitative and quantitative data collection to support coalition work, preparing data reports for community leaders to watch for emerging health trends, reviewing data with staff and volunteers to develop a plan to address health issues.
