2009 Youth Summit a Success

      On Saturday, Oct. 10, the Buffalo County Youth Advisory Board, in conjunction with Buffalo County Community Partners, hosted the 2009 Central Nebraska Region Youth Summit. Approximately 200 youth in grades 6-12 attended this free event, themed Define Yourself.

     The summit was designed to teach youth leadership, community involvement and youth engagement. The guest speaker for the 2009 summit was Kevin Wanzer. Youth were also given the opportunity to participate in jousting, team building activities, games and crafts. Thank you to all of the donors, sponsors and volunteers that made this day a huge success!
