High Impact Prevention Services

Our Vision: Improve the health and quality of life through prevention: leveraging collaboration, planning, and programming. To aid communities in the coordination, and integration of resources, and use of evidence-based practices to improve health and well-being.

“Buffalo County Community Partners has been very instrumental to the community of Ravenna. They helped fund Bluejay Headquarters Youth Center and held successful Town Hall meetings here. In addition, they organized various youth activities. Two of the activities our students attended were the Youth Summit and Buffalo County day at the Capitol. Also, we have students who serve on the Buffalo County Youth Advisory Board, which meets once a month. All in all, you can see that BCCP reaches out to the small communities and helps us vital ways.” -Janelle Grabowski, Ravenna teacher and sponsor of STAR and YAB

Community Indicators:

  1. Decrease underage drinking and binge drinking
