Background: I have a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing from UNK. I was the assistant director of the Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce for six years, and began my career with Buffalo County Community Partners in 1999, working as public relations chairman.
Job Duties: I am the executive director, overseeing six full time staff and University of Nebraska interns.
Fun Fact: I was raised on a farm in Pleasanton, married Shayne Zwiener, and moved seven miles to his farm which has been in the family for over 100 years. Denise Zwiener
Background: In 1995, I earned a Business Degree with emphasis in Accounting from Chadron State College. I have been a Bank Operations Manager, a CPA Assistant, the Accounting Manager for United Way of the Kearney Area and also the Executive Director for the Lexington Area United Way.
Job Duties: I provide assistance to Community Partners’ Executive Director Denise Zweiner and oversee office procedures and finances at the Community Partners offices.
Fun Fact: I have an insane passion for food; creating it, displaying it, sharing it, consuming it. Over the years, I have fed tens of thousands of people! I am also an avid outdoors woman with Comanche Indian roots Dawn Holbein
Background: I graduated from UNK with a bachelors degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing and a masters degree in sports administration.
Job Duties: I am the Behavioral Health Systems Coordinator, currently working with the Healthy MINDS collaborative to elevate behavioral health needs including organizing collaboration between systems working with family and children in our community. Along with the collaborative, I also coordinate Buffalo County Rooted in Relationships, Suicide Prevention, and 2nd Step curriculum.
Fun Fact: I have an addiction to chocolate peanut butter cups. Peanut butter eggs, peanut butter Christmas trees . . . I need them. Tana Miller
Behavioral Health Coordinator

Background:I’m originally from Kearney, but I left town for about six years before moving back for this position. While I was away, I earned my BA in Communication and Biology from Rockhurst University, and my MPH (Master of Public Health) in health communication.
Job Duties:As the wellness coordinator, I work primarily with our Be Well Buffalo County initiative and the Activate Buffalo County coalition. Both groups are working on making the healthy choice the easy choice in our communities by creating a healthy environment in which to live and work.
Fun Fact: I was actually in intern at Community Partners when I was home the summer before my senior year of college. There are also a million (okay, 5) other Squiers kids running around this town—I’m proud to be one of them! Becky Squiers

Background: I was born in Los Angeles, California and relocated to Nebraska a few years back. I just received my degree from UNK in social work. I am also an artist who enjoys teaching youth about art and a little about themselves.
Job Duties: I work with United Against Violence and assist with the PhotoVoice Program. I also assist with Trauma-Informed Care, Second Step, and Youth Mentoring.
Fun Fact: I briefly raised about 60 goats on family owned property and we owned a llama named Steve. Josh Arias
|Michelle Toukan:I am from Central City Nebraska. I am a Midwest girl through and through. I received my bachelors in Advertising/Public Relations from Hastings College, where I also was an All American Pole Vaulter.
Job Duties: I am the strategic marketing planner for all of the Coalitions under Community Partners, as well as for Community Partners itself. I am everything from newsletter write to video-o-graph-er to social media coordinator. I never know what tomorrow will bring.
Fun Fact: I am currently a developmental athlete for the USA Bobsled/Skeleton Team! I set up office in a dorm room in Lake Placid at the Olympic Training Center when I am training. Michelle Toukan
Background:I am originally from Colorado, spending almost all my life growing up there. I moved to a small town in the Nebraska Panhandle for high school and in August landed myself at UNK. I am studying Public Administration and have a minor in Public Health as well.
Job Duties:I was specifically hired to help the Buffalo County Be Well project. I also help with Activate Buffalo County and office needs.

Background: I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Family Studies from UNK and have worked in the Human Services field since 2002 in Kearney and the surrounding areas of Grand Island, Broken Bow and Lexington. My most recent position before joining Community Partners was as a Community Support Worker for South Central Behavioral Services.
Job Duties:I work with Positive Pressure and other community partners toward substance abuse prevention efforts, including Red Ribbon Week, Prescription Take-Back, and Cruisin’ Family Style for Cruise Nite. I also schedule and coordinate the Responsible Beverage Server class Training for Intervention Procedures (TIPS).
Fun Fact: I enjoy spending time with my family and also love to watch and cheer on the Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Denver Broncos football teams. Wanda Fedorchik
Substance Abuse Prevention Coordinator
Background:I am originally from Fullerton, NE. I graduated from UNK, studying Family and Pre Occupational Therapy with hopes of being an occupational therapist.
Job Duties:I will be helping the Behavioral Health collaborative with projects and meetings. I also help coordinate the second step curriculum, the social emotional learning kits in Buffalo County preschools
